Bridging Open Work Permit Application
Service Description
This service is for eligible permanent residence applicants in Canada who need a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) while their PR application is being processed. A BOWP is available only under specific permanent residence programs and is not created simply by entering the Express Entry pool or receiving an Invitation to Apply. Following the initial consultation, we confirm whether your PR application and current immigration status meet the BOWP requirements. We review your Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), PR category, current or previous work permit, status and expiry dates, maintained-status or restoration considerations, and any program-specific conditions. For Provincial Nominee Program applicants, we also review the nomination and whether it contains employment restrictions. If you decide to proceed, the scope of representation and professional fees are confirmed in a written Service Agreement before the full service begins. You will receive a case-specific document checklist and guidance on the evidence required. We prepare and review the work permit forms, status documents, AOR and PR-related evidence, and any nomination or other program-specific documents required for your category. Where needed, we prepare explanations addressing timing, status history, previous refusals or other relevant circumstances. Before submission, the complete application is reviewed for accuracy, consistency and potential concerns, including its alignment with the underlying permanent residence application. The final file is reviewed with you and submitted only after your confirmation. We remain your authorized representative within the agreed scope, monitor the application after submission and assist with IRCC correspondence and file developments. Online meetings are arranged as needed, and communication remains open throughout the process by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The fees shown are professional fees for ANKA Immigration’s services only. IRCC/government fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations and other third-party costs are not included. Fees may vary based on previous refusals, status complications, accompanying family applications or other case-specific complexity. A BOWP is generally for the principal applicant of an eligible PR application. Family members’ work permit eligibility is assessed separately.
