Employer-Based Work Permit Application

Service Description

This service is for individuals who have a Canadian job offer and require an employer-specific work permit. Unlike an open work permit, this permit authorizes work under conditions that may include a specific employer, occupation and work location. Following the initial consultation, we identify the correct work permit category and determine whether the position requires a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or qualifies for an LMIA exemption. We review your current status, immigration history, proposed employment, qualifications, passport validity, previous refusals and where the application can properly be made. We also review the employer-provided documents for consistency. If you proceed, the scope of representation and professional fees are confirmed in a written Service Agreement. You will receive a case-specific document checklist and guidance on the evidence required. For LMIA-based applications, we review the positive LMIA, employment contract and job offer together with the worker’s supporting evidence. For LMIA-exempt applications, we review the exemption basis, employment contract and Employer Portal offer of employment number where required. We prepare and review the forms and evidence showing that you meet the requirements of the position, including relevant education, work experience, licensing or certification where applicable. Necessary explanations or representative submissions are prepared when appropriate. Before submission, the complete application is reviewed for accuracy, consistency and alignment with the employment documents. The final file is reviewed with you and submitted only after your confirmation. We remain your authorized representative within the agreed scope, monitor the application after submission and assist with IRCC correspondence and file developments. Online meetings are arranged as needed, and communication remains open throughout by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The fees shown are professional fees for ANKA Immigration’s services only. IRCC/government fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations and other third-party costs are not included. Fees may vary based on previous refusals, status issues, accompanying family applications or other case-specific complexity. This service covers the worker’s work permit application. An employer’s LMIA application or other employer-side immigration services are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
