Service Description

This service is for spouses or common-law partners who may qualify for an open work permit based on their partner’s status in Canada and who want full professional representation throughout the application process. Following the initial consultation, we confirm the eligibility category that applies to your family. This may include spouses of eligible international students, qualifying foreign workers, or certain permanent residence applicants. We review the principal applicant’s study or work authorization, program or occupation, permit validity, immigration pathway, your relationship and immigration history, current status, previous refusals, and the appropriate filing strategy. If you proceed, the scope of representation and professional fees are confirmed in a written Service Agreement before the full service begins. You will receive a case-specific document checklist and guidance on the evidence required. We prepare and review the work permit forms and supporting documents, including proof of your spousal or common-law relationship, the principal applicant’s status and eligibility documents, your immigration records, passport and status documents, and any additional evidence required for the applicable SOWP category. Where needed, we prepare explanations or representative submissions addressing previous refusals, status history, relationship evidence or other concerns. Before submission, the application is reviewed for accuracy, consistency and compliance with the applicable requirements. The final file is reviewed with you and submitted only after your confirmation. We remain your authorized representative within the agreed scope, monitor the application and assist with IRCC correspondence and file developments. Online meetings are arranged as needed, and communication remains open throughout by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The fees shown are professional fees for ANKA Immigration’s services only. IRCC/government fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations and other third-party costs are not included. Fees may vary based on previous refusals, status complications, accompanying applications or other case-specific complexity. Marriage or common-law status alone does not create eligibility for a Spousal Open Work Permit. Eligibility depends on the applicable IRCC category and the circumstances of both partners.
