Study Permit Extension Full Application
Service Description
This service is for international students who are already in Canada, are continuing their studies, and need to extend their study permit because their current permit will expire before they complete their program. Following the initial consultation, we review your current status, study permit conditions, enrolment and academic progress, expected completion date, passport validity, finances and immigration history. We assess why additional time is required, whether you have complied with the conditions of your stay, and whether any issue should be addressed before filing. Timing is important: if an eligible extension application is submitted before the current permit expires, the student may generally remain in Canada and continue studying under the existing conditions while IRCC makes a decision. If you proceed, the scope of representation and professional fees are confirmed in a written Service Agreement before the full service begins. You will receive a case-specific document checklist and guidance on the evidence required. We prepare and review the forms and supporting documents, including proof of enrolment, academic records where relevant, expected completion date, financial documents, passport and status records, and any explanation needed to support the extension. PAL/TAL or CAQ requirements are reviewed where applicable. Before submission, the complete application is checked for accuracy, consistency and potential concerns, reviewed with you, and submitted only after your confirmation. We remain your authorized representative within the agreed scope, monitor the file after submission and assist with IRCC correspondence and developments. Where eligible and included in the agreed scope, accompanying family applications may also be coordinated with the student’s extension. Online meetings are arranged as needed, and communication remains open throughout the process by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The fees shown are professional fees for ANKA Immigration’s services only. IRCC/government fees, biometrics, medical examinations, translations and other third-party costs are not included. Fees may vary based on accompanying family members, previous refusals or other case-specific complexity. This service is for students who still hold valid status and need additional time to complete their studies. Restoration of student status or other status issues require separate assessment.
